Location Data

Our applications – Faast Gas User, Faast Gas Vendor, and Faast Gas Driver – collect and utilize location data to deliver essential services and improve the overall experience. This includes enabling drivers to receive delivery assignments, ensuring accurate order pickup and delivery, and allowing customers to track their orders in real time.

We may collect both precise and approximate location data from drivers, vendors, and users, depending on the features you use:

• User App: Location data is used to suggest nearby vendors, calculate delivery times, and provide real-time order tracking.
• Driver App: Location data (including background location) is used to assign delivery tasks, provide navigation, and ensure efficient route planning even when the app is not actively open.
• Vendor App: Location data is used to identify vendor locations for order assignment and route optimization.

This data is collected only with your explicit permission. You can control or revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings. However, disabling location sharing may affect the functionality of the app, such as the ability to place or receive delivery orders.

Location data is never sold to third parties. It is shared only with trusted service providers, such as mapping and navigation platforms (e.g., Google Maps API), and solely for the purpose of enabling the services mentioned above.

All location data is securely stored and retained only as long as necessary for operational purposes, including delivery tracking, analytics, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Once the data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymized to protect user privacy.
